| Shinjuku in Tokyo! |
My first day in Japan is over, and it turned out just perfectly!
Even though it took me 13 hours from Sweden to get to Japan, I was so excited when I arrived at the airport "Tokyo - Narita". I had only slept for just a few hours on the the air plane, but I wasn't tired at all when I got off. The first thing that hit me was the humid warm air, about 25 degrees and I was walking with a winter coat, clever boy.
After going trough the tollgate the first thing I saw was my transfer, holding a note say "Viktor Tobias Sandberg". It was quite cool actually, I felt kinda like
an important person, haha!
He showed me to his car, and then we drove for about 1:30 hours to get to my home in Saitama, which lies about 30 min from Tokyo. On the way, we drove through Tokyo, and wow, what a town. Driving past skyscraper after skyscraper, the next being taller then the one before. Amazing sight. The transfer was a really nice person, and he spoke very good English, which was really nice! And talked about everything from religion to Abba. So the 1:30 hours past very quickly!
When we arrived to the guest house, I got a really nice and warm welcome from the people who lived there. I was shown to my room and got a tour around the house. After that, one of the girls who showed me around the house took me for a tour around in the town that we lives in. She showed me the local super market and also some other interesting things. After that we decided to take the train the train to see my school. Even though, I was jetlagged and I didn't really feel it. I was so excited to be here! When we arrived in Takodanobaba (where the school is located) we found the school almost right away. It looked so nice and stylish, so I think I will have a great time there!

After the meal we took our way to Shinjuku which is a quite famous part of Tokyo that is known for it's shopping. We went to bic camera to see the camera I'm going to buy, and also went to the main street to see all the gallerias and skyscrapers. We actually went up in one, and that's where I took the picture you see on top of this post.
After this, we had been out walking for about 5 hours, and I can tell the my sleepiness was really catching up on me. So we decided that it was time to go home. And the very minute I got home, I fell asleep.
I thought that I was going to start school today, Monday, but apparently I had checked wrong date. So I am free now for two days, so I hope that i have the time to get to know the rest of the people in the house until that time!
Well, That's all I had to say for this time!
I hope you enjoyed reading about my first time, and I'll see you next time!
Matane!
/ See you!
Viktor
